MOBILE APP DEVELOPER (JUNIOR / INTERN)

We are looking for an entry level mobile developer with experience building mobile applications across different mobile platforms to Join our team.

 

Skills / Requirements

  • Proficient in one or more programming language used for mobile app development: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, Dart, Java etc.
  • Experience building mobile applications on one or more mobile platforms: IOS, Cordova and/or Android
  • Understanding of Android/iOS related mobile application frameworks
  • Develop, test, and maintain the deployed application software with high quality
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure a successful, high-quality product and great user experience
  • Analyse, maintain and enhance existing application and troubleshoot issues with efficiency.
  • Perform accurate development estimations
  • Produce technical specifications and designs.
  • Participate in new business development through ideation, prototype development, and project estimates
  • Research new techniques, tools, and best practices and share that knowledge with the team and community
  • May need to assist with quality assurance and provide input
  • Solid understanding of the system development life cycle (be able to explain the java developer role in each stage)
  • Solid understanding of defined system development tools, processes and workflows
  • Understand the importance of delivering high quality source code

 

Experience

  • Diploma in IT or any related Qualification
  • 1+ years of proven experience as an Android developer
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with software development in a test-driven environment
  • Excellent understanding and application of design principles
  • Familiar with UML
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Have worked on at least 1 app published or ready to demonstrate
  • Android or IOS
  • Android Studio (Java/ Kotlin)
  • Flutter (Advantageous)
  • IONIC (Advantageous)
